Try to give without expectations…

I was told many many years ago to try to give without expectations…this is a very challenging task but it can be done.  I believe love and charity begins at home and it has a lot to do with the mindset that one has in order to spread that love, happiness and giving to your loved ones.  I strive to make the life of my family easier by trying to keep them happy to the best of my ability.  It’s not always easy as we as individuals often have our own needs too but putting others first some of the time can be helpful in expanding the breadth of your heart.  God didn’t only put us on earth to fulfill our own needs but to Love others and give, these two mean the same thing.  Life is full of twists and turns but if we love and give than we strive and live.  It’s the action of giving without any expectation that can transform our beings, elevate us mentally, emotionally, spiritually and sometimes even financially.  It’s all possible through the power of love.  We all are equipped with these special abilities deep inside our hearts.  I vow to myself to start using my love more freely and giving to others, it could be something as small as a smile to the one you’re passing by.  There are so many ways this can be done, use your heart and mind to creatively give to others, this will make you feel good from inside.  Trust the all knowing power that’s inside of each one of us, it’s just a matter of awakening it.
